A first-person, TG, transformation experience!

Important, this is the NON-VR game. For the VR version, please go here: https://desidee.itch.io/changing-time-vr

As an intrepid adventurer exploring the desert, you've found the lost temple of the Sisterhood of Tyet. This incredible discovery is sure to change your life - though you might not be prepared for just how much!

Genre: Escape Room (very easy)

Play length: Roughly 10-20 minutes

Contents: MtF transformation, nudity, sexually suggestive imagery, expansion & extreme body proportions (optional)

Content warnings:

  • Non-VR game - This is a non-VR port of the original game.
  • Atmospheric - some people might find the setting a little spooky (alone in a temple), but there are no horror elements or jump scares.
  • AI content - there is some AI-generated content. Specifically, voices and the epilogue story. Both can be deactivated/skipped.

FAQ:

How "interactive" is it?

No explicit sex, but your breasts, penis, and butt are physics enabled and can bounce about to your heart’s content. Genitals are not “interactive”.

Wait, there's a VR version?

Yes! And it's available here: https://desidee.itch.io/changing-time-vr

Will there be a Mac version?

Not in the foreseeable future. I'm genuinely sorry Mac users! I'd love to put out a Mac version, but Apple requires you own a Mac to compile on their system and I don't have the funds to buy one.

I wish the game was more optimised for weak devices

for your next transformation game you should make the person turn into a anthropomorphic animal?

What an excellent game, no experience! I'm getting my VR setup to experience it on another level of immersion.

I look forward to your future (and checking out your past) games.

is there any breast expansion in this game or did I just miss it?

(+1)

Actually BE is the most extensive change available. If you’re facing the mirror, the column to the back left does BE (look for the large breasts image when the columns are lit up). Use the gems on this one as many times as possible for BE. :)

thanks

what transformation game are you going to make next and i am always here if you need any ideas

Still working on the opening stages, so it’s still a little fuzzy.

I just played the game and realized there's still so bugs:
1) Game does not pause when in the settings
2) you can just go through everything

Thank you for these examples and the comment. I'll take a look at what I can clean up in a future release (I should be able to fix the sand dune bit). But to be honest, a lot of the more advanced mesh/physics interaction is probably beyond my ability at this point. Who knows what future projects will hold though :)

Side note: I saved and removed the second two example posts so they don't take up too much room in the comments.

i like this game and you should make more?

Thank you! Planning on it!

I do not know if someone already told you but the blue and green gems do not have physics enable they just float once picked up.

I just noticed this too yesterday! You're the first to mention it though, so thank you! On the list to fix!

You are welcome, also when trying to put the gems in the pedstals it is hard, as they like to fling in a random direction.

I'm too stupid for this game... I cannot find the Ankh (or whatever that the non-scarab, ouroboros or key thing is) triangle. May I ask for some guidance?

(1 edit)

Sure thing! The locations of the tablets are:
1. Nefer - on the ground next to the central pyramid altar. Left side.
2. Scarab - In the broken pot on the left side of the mirror
3. Tyet - In the unbroken pot on the right side of the mirror (break with a rock)
4. Ouroboros - In the pot up on the ledge on the right side wall of the room (break with a rock)

Edit: if you'd like hints for the endings, please see this post here: https://desidee.itch.io/changing-time-vr/devlog/754383/ending-list

Thank you, for some reason I couldn't find the tyet despite breaking the vase several times.

Hey desidee I love your games your game forgotten is one of my favorites  I was wondering if this changing time game is free or not

Thank you! Yes, it's donation based, so you can give whatever you like - even if that's $0.

Is there a way to force windowed mode, sadly using an ultrawide monitor and full screen means it zooms in and cuts off parts of the screen making it more difficult to do puzzles and play.  Or if you know a way to force it be helpful ^^  Otherwise its very nice.

Solution found, made a shortcut of the .exe and added the following after the " at the end   -ResX=2560 -ResY=1440 -WINDOWED ((Solved ))

Thank you for this feedback, and totally awesome that you found your own solution! I didn't realize how necessary a windowed mode might be, will look into adding it in a future release.

(1 edit) (+1)

it will mostly effect multimonitors If they have the screen spanned across all and ultrawide monitors. So being able to select a resolution and windowed mode fixed that zoomed in issue some games have.

where is the circle tablet? i cant seem to find it

On the right side of the room (as you're facing the mirror), there's a pot placed up on a ledge, the circle ("Ouroboros") tablet is in there. Grab a rock and throw it at this pot to break it. :)

What other keys are there to enlarge other parts of the body besides B?

Ah crap, that was a debugging key I accidentally left in, sorry! That's the only one, will remove in the next version.

no need, it can be added as an add-on after a full walkthrough, you can also add additional cutscenes or other endings, you can work with this, so don't remove this opportunity, but expand it.

Love the game. I am confused though. what must i do with the back of the mirror :D

(1 edit)

Don't stress, that's by far the hardest puzzle, and it's bonus content, not required for the basic endings.

Hint: The buttons are arranged in columns, and you need to push the right one in each column. The key for which button is in plain sight around the room.

Spoiler: If you'd like the answer, check out the ending guide post here: https://desidee.itch.io/changing-time-vr/devlog/754383/ending-list

Thanks for the non-VR version! Someday I might get a headset, but for now, this is what I have. I love your games! This and Changing Room are especially special to me. I greatly appreciate the games you make!

Awww, that is so sweet! Thank you so much for the kind words!

For some reason the gems get stuck if you try to use one that hasn’t been used to full charging on a change that’s already been maxed out. For example, with the waist you can only go up to five changes on that pillar, but if you try to go beyond that the crystal you used just becomes stuck there and uninteractable.

Thank you for letting me know! I think I've found the problem and should have an updated version out in a few days.

hi there is a bug due to which it is impossible to complete the game it is triggered when you press the skip button and because of this some items do not appear namely on the right side the urn with the rune for the passage. And also this bug has already appeared in the normal start.

Doesn't seem to work on my part : each time I try to open it it ends up in an error spelling

"Cannot render an Instanced Stereo-enabled project due to a missing functionality on the system. Please check log files for more info."

Thank you for letting me know! I'll look into this!

Update: I think I found the problem. Should have a fixed release out in a few days.

I searched around for about 30 minutes but couldn't find the triangular piece with the circle drawn on it...

Also, I don't know if it's a bug or a design issue, but if you get too close to a wall, the screen will turn black.

On the right side of the room (as you're facing the mirror), there's a pot placed up on a ledge, the circle ("Ouroboros") tablet is in there. Grab a rock and throw it at this pot to break it.

Thanks for pointing out the black screen bug. I think I know what's causing this and will fix it in the next update. Thank you!

thank you! !

I found another strange behavior and would like to report it. If I continued to back up in an area where I could see the epilogue, I would fall out of the area and end up in an endless falling loop.

Great tip, thank you!!! Also on the list to fix!

(1 edit)

Definitely would like to see this expanded upon a little. A good premise. Easy little escape room.

Would be nice to get a proper "reset" button, rather than being forced to completely quit the game and load it all up again.

Tried to play this on a lower end PC. Even on the lowest settings it couldn't handle it well.

There are only 2 glaring issues I have. First is that two of the pieces can be very difficult to find due to physics. Second is that the sand blocking the last portion is still something you can walk through, it should probably get some proper collision to prevent the player from submerging themselves in sand. Easy enough to get out, but still annoying, especially since I've found some rogue pieces in that area.

EDIT: Found a little more to explore. Trying to puzzle it out now. Although in the meanwhile, I did find a bug that might be worth correcting.

After solving the main puzzle, you can use the other two gems to boost yourself further. However, putting one gem into a spot you've already maxed out will leave the gem locked in the socket, unable to be removed.

Thank you thank you for the feedback! I'll definitely look to fix these for the next release, these are great comments!

FWIW, I totally agree on the reset button. It's actually already there in the code, but I had strange crashing problems when packaging, so I cut it out for this release.
