Nice little game with nice art. Bit repetitive as goes the performing of daily tasks but they serve for the purposes of the story advancing forward and the TF elements. Just one minor thing I have seen that the final update is coming close as mentioned in the dev, log but would it be still possible to change that only way to get magic is to fornicate with male friend of the witch or some male resident of the town ? Possibly enable it through lesbian encounter or bringing back the killed futa familiar of the witch ?

Originally the lesbian encounter in the town didn’t grant magic. Even though it fits in the lore of the story, it still feels unfair for those who want to enjoy that encounter, but not lose out on magical gains. So I’d actually already added a magic benefit there for the next version.
As for the wytch’s familiar, I’d originally planned to bring her back later in the story, but cut it out due to time constraints. Thanks to your comment, I got off my butt and finished writing her scene. She’ll be an Easter-egg character in the next release.

Gotta say I just found this game but it is a gem, interesting premise, the tf elements are solid along with their descriptions, the witch is an interesting antagonist, pretty irredeemable, twisted and evil but with enough humanity to make her understandable in motivation.
Still hoping for an ending where I get to bury that wood hatchet into the back of her skull though.

Happy to share a preview. Here's a scene where the MC is trying to seduce the new hunter in the inn/tavern. The Inn now has a background image, the hunter has his own avatar, and you can see we've got quite a few new changes for the main character - long, curly hair; updated dress; larger breasts; and makeup.
Awesome. I love the new changes in the avatar, larger breasts and longer hair is one thing I already even asked you about before. Now the makeup adds a little nice touch as well.
Also take your time doing something you are proud of, it is an amazing game but I can wait longer for a complete experience, as you did said that this one would be the last update.
I was playing the last update and comparing it to the new image you postend and I have some questions. The breast size seems the same as the largest from the last update, as well as the dress. Is that the new breasts?
Sharp eye! The dress in that image is new, but it’s not so much a change as it a cleanup. Same with the breasts, they had a weird transparent bits that I cleaned up. In the next update there is also a new, much larger breast image and accompanying shirt/dress.
No huge updates yet, just chewing through the content. About 30 of ~90 pages written. Though I'm working simultaneously on a different game, so it's progressing a little slower than usual. At the current pace, I think I can probably finish about mid-summer. (Sorry! I'm not a fast developer at all!)

You don't need to feel sorry at all. You are a great developer and I love your games. Hearing that you have been working in a new game fill me with hope and makes sense that it would slow the development of Ridinghood.
Ridinghood is one of my favorite game I ever played, I am just sad that it is going to end in the next update by what you said before.
About Patreon, I had one a few years back, but it didn’t fit with my work style. I prefer to launch completed games, rather than in installments, so the monthly model doesn’t work well for me. Thanks for the suggestion though!

More specifically, last I checked it took no time to use and had no "negative" (such a subjective term for a story like this!) consequences, meaning you could use it as much as you want. Just didn't want to share too much in an open forum, trying to be spoiler conscious!
I agree, now that there are lower body changes, I want to see them too. I started on some test graphics, but it would take an overhaul of the avatar programming, so not sure whether I can do it or not.

Tbh I thought that when I was looking at the dev logs for the game, but still can't wait to play the next update. I have spent 5 - 10 hours on the game and I think I have done mostly everything. The funny thing is I keep coming back to the game. So I really am ready for a new update, but I'm also willing to give it time to grow. I have always thought that the more time spent on something the better the it will be when it's a finished product. is the newest hairstyle changes for this update only the pigtails? while the long hair, curly hair, etc is just placeholder in the file for now but not avalable in the game or is there a way to trigger diffrent hairstyles? also kinda stuck what to do when Cassandra finally let Red learn magic or how to get more magic items
Nice guess! You're correct, long hair, curly hair, and curly long hair will be in the next update (just finished writing long hair today actually).
Sorry, right now there isn't much to do after learning magic. That is kind of the second-to-last stage of the game, the next release will probably be the endings and wrap of the game. (Though there is a chance I'll split it into two more releases if it's taking too long)
I see thanks for the info, I hope the next patch also provide guide sheet to help how to trigger each ending or route conversations events so I dont have to grind through the reset back and fourth such as what happened if the blackwolf rebel more with cassandra or what if he just accepts everything that happens and let the punishment flow
Unfortunately yes, the next update will be the final one or very close to it - got to get on to the next project! I currently plan on 7 more TFs (don’t quote me though, some might end up cut), and the wrapping of the various plot lines for content.
i dont normally play the resistant person, but this game actually made me want to try. i was kinda put off by her smug attitude towards the MC made me feel challenged to spite her. so i tried playing a person trying to escape, which trying to 100% the tasks gets incredibly tedious once making dinner starts then you have to go to town for meat and veggies. also, taking time to move in and out of doors feels like shit as you try anything done. im not sure if you can even escape because it made me really hate the wytch and frustrated with the game.

You're right, if your character chooses to never open up or change, and only do chores day after day, it does get quite monotonous and frustrating. That's kind of by design, as being trapped as a servant is probably boring and tedious - but you make a great point that it should be frustrating to the character and not the player. I'll definitely take this into consideration for the next version, thank you!
FYI, there are two paths to escape that don't require any relationship building with the wytch. After the endings are more complete in the next version, I plan to post a branch guide.
So close I can taste it! All content and programming is complete and just doing testing, proofing, and balancing now. Need to get the balance right between time/chores/money/horny/magic...so many variables!

Hi! I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble. Could you please tell me more? What do you mean that the pictures are not clear? Are they fuzzy or pixelated? No clear background?
As a guess, the images are all PNGs which can cause problems with some older browsers (IE, Opera). So switching to a browser like Firefox, Edge, or Chrome might help.
Found this game through TF games. You throw like a girl from VIM, and the sadly canceled E-wardrobe are my favorite TF games from the site, or WERE till I found this sucker. (well if I'm honest it's still tied with YTLAG but the more content this gets tighter that lead becomes.) The high production value, wonderful premise, and tantalizing transformations, are like nothing I've ever seen. I am a broke ass full time collage student, I am unemployed, and live with my parents. So when I tell you I'm about to drop you $20 because I'm that impressed, that excited, and THAT desperate to see this project completed and not abandoned, know I mean every single word.
TLDR: keep up the good work, your doing great sweaty.

I just love this game. And it seems it is close to ending, which is sad. But a completed game is good. I am so torn about it!

a question I have is the character's eyes, they are more green than blue, so will it continue in that greenish tone or will it become more blue?
Nice catch! The original model was blue, but I changed it to green mid-way through production. I'll update the descriptions to match!
